This past weekend the kind folks at flew us over to Salt Spring Island to visit one of the V.I.A. not-for-profit's board of directors for an amazing weekend trip. This little airline flies their 6-passenger floatplanes out of Coal Harbour and out of the airport and over the next few days I'll be sharing five reasons why you should take a trip to this magical little island with them.
Reason #2 is their small fleet of epicly historical, modified, 6-passenger !
They're some of the finest planes ever built according to some, and they were all built between 1947-1964. The one we flew in was actually once owned by deHavilland test pilot, , and was manufactured in 1956!
