Has anybody else noticed a lot more float planes out there lately? More than a couple of times a day you can look up and spot two of them up there at the same time. I have a dear friend who lives on Salt Spring Island and comes to the city for business once a month. The company he works for pays for him to get over here and it actually saves them money if he flies instead of drives onto a ferry and charges them for his gas, wear and tear on his vehicle and the cost of the ferry ticket itself. The most awesome thing about this is that he takes photos every time and sometimes shares them with me when I see him. I'll get him to e-mail me some to share with you. For now, two float planes flying over Mount Pleasant.
