According to a news release, 鈥渁s part of our ongoing work for the gas line upgrade project, our crews continue to work east along Lougheed Highway.鈥

This means that beginning in the evening of Sept. 17 (Monday), traffic between Delta Avenue and Springer Avenue will be shifted to the south side of the street and reduced to one lane in each direction.

If you are planning on driving to Vancouver, work is also underway on East 1st Avenue in 麻豆传媒映画near the Highway 1 overpass and Boundary Road, where eastbound traffic is reduced to a single lane. 鈥淥vernight work may also be needed to complete road restoration,鈥 said the news release. 鈥淲e anticipate that our construction in this area will be completed by the end of this month.鈥

Much of Lougheed near Brentwood Mall has been disrupted for the past few weeks as the construction continued.

Construction hours will be Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on. There may also be some overnight and Sunday work required, according to the company.The project will upgrade 20 kilometres of natural gas line in Burnaby, Coquitlam and Vancouver.
