A week with a 2013 Ford Flex in Vancouver

Two automobile posts on V.I.A. in one day: first Rick introduced you to THIS CHALLENGE he's participating in and second I wanted to share with you the 2013 Ford Flex that Ford Canada loaned me for the week.

Two automobile posts on V.I.A. in one day: first Rick introduced you to he's participating in and second I wanted to share with you the that Ford Canada loaned me for the week. Touted as having "incredibly helpful new features inside" they say that it's "the space for busy families on the go" and I think I'm about to prove that to you by taking you on some trips with my (busy) little family.

I picked it up at noon today, transferred my three year old son's carseat from the (unnamed brand of) small car that we currently own then took the little guy and my wife for a quick spin to lunch. I returned to the office, took advantage of the rear parking assist video feature to tuck it neatly into my tiny parking space, and have been sitting here at my desk musing at the features I've already used and learning more about the vehicle on on the Ford web site.

First impression? Holy crap. This is gonna be a great week. Using the video feature to help me park was cool but I'm really looking forward to pushing the Active Park Assist button and letting this thing park itself... and getting it into some settings a little more picturesque than Strathcona! Stay tuned.
