Summer's here and the time is right, for dancing in the street!
returns to Yaletown for 5 days of free live music and dancing in the street!
Featuring the toe-tapping sounds of Vancouver’s best live jazz bands, Let’s Hear it for Yaletown will serve up a lunchtime and happy hour mix of hot jazz, swing and the big brass blasts of New Orleans. The free series, which takes place June 24 - 28 on Mainland St, is hosted by the Yaletown BIA and curated by .
Music and dancing will take place during lunch hours and after work, so you can take a break from office life and shake your tail feathers in the sunshine. Free dance lessons (including swing lessons) will be provided between performances so you can join the party and dance the day away.
The event series will take place at Bill Curtis Square (Canada Line Station at Mainland and Davie) from noon - 2:00pm and 5:00pm - 7:30pm from June 24 - June 28).
