Here are the dining destinations you need to visit in Vancouver’s West End

Vancouver’s West End has always been a great destination for food, but recently, the vibrant downtown community’s collection of restaurants, pubs and diners has turned into something that the rest of us are frankly… a little jealous of.

Vancouver’s West End has always been a great destination for food, but recently, the vibrant downtown community’s collection of restaurants, pubs and diners has turned into something that the rest of us are frankly… a little jealous of.

Fortunately, food is meant to be shared! We’ve partnered with the West End’s new favourite spots to provide you with a list of where to eat, drink and be merry this season in Vancouver.

Fried chicken aficionados know… Taiwanese style fried chicken is where it’s at! The ever popular Taiwanese chain J&G Fried Chicken now operates two locations in Vancouver, including the Crystal Mall in Burnaby and their outpost on Robson St. in Downtown Vancouver. Founded in 1973, J&G has 45 years of chicken frying experience, which has resulted in some seriously delicious chicken dishes, including their world-famous Popcorn Chicken. The dish is marinated in dozens of exotic spices and seasonings and like all J&G Chicken dishes, only uses chicken breast that’s shipped in fresh daily. It’s crispy, it’s hot and it’s everything you want your fried chicken to be… plus a little something more.
