is one of the largest summer multicultural events in B.C., welcoming over 50,000 attendees to the corner of Keefer and Columbia Street in the heart of Vancouver’s historic Chinatown neighborhood.

The family-friendly festival serves as a celebration of Chinatown’s past present and future, offering multicultural stage performances and walking tours as a unique opportunity to learn about the neighbourhood’s history, while also recognizing Chinatown as a creative hub in the city, playing host to live bands and entertainment throughout the festival. The free walking tours will cover Chinatown's origins, architecture, evolution and future as a potential UNESCO World Heritage site.

A mix of traditional and modern Asian dance groups, bands, musicians, and other artists have been invited to perform at the festival, which includes a traditional Lion Dance that will usher in good fortune and prosperity as part of the festival’s opening ceremony. Other festival highlights include a the TD photo booth, Wheel of Fortune prize wheel, Tamiya Mini 4WD racing, magic performances and the Chinatown Outdoor Movie Night.

There will also be live Kung Fu competitions, a mobile aquarium, 80 vendors and 23 food trucks featuring street food from all over Asia, reflecting the different cultures that have influenced Vancouver’s Chinatown throughout the decades.

Parking for the event will be limited and biking, walking and transit are strongly encouraged. There will be a free shuttle bus and bike valet available on site. The shuttle stop is located across the Waterfront Station on West Cordova St (600 W Cordova St, Vancouver, BC) in Downtown Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­and runs every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
