Car horns are as irritating as rush hour traffic and in an environment surrounded by both, you can see why so many drivers are so angry. But what if a car horn didn’t have to sound like a car horn?
Vancouver-based Brodie Bikes recently did a quirky experiment to see if they could make a cars a little more friendly. The idea? Take the world’s favourite electric car and modify the horn to sound exactly like a bicycle bell.
The result? They learned we’d all probably enjoy driving a little more if we drove electric cars with bike bells for car horns. And if we can’t do that, maybe we should ride bikes more often.
