On August 12, will host a special sustainable dining experience prepared by renowned Ocean Wise Executive Chef, Ned Bell.

The evening will feature a gorgeous, multi-course menu highlighting sustainable and locally sourced ingredients, which will be served at the , an initiative. While the food is intended to be the feature, there’s (obviously) a twist.

Rather than dining inside, dinner will be served in the comfort of Toyota Hybrids. Just like the evening’s menu, the hybrid theme is meant to represent a more sustainable and environmentally-conscious option for enjoying what we love, whether that be food, travel or all of the above.

Long-time sustainable seafood ambassador Chef Ned Bell (Canada’s Chef of the Year 2014) is the Ocean Wise executive chef based at the 鶹ýӳAquarium. Chef Bell’s cooking philosophy is globally inspired and locally created. His dedication to sustainable seafood has inspired many Canadian chefs to get involved in the cause – a movement that is having a meaningful impact on the way consumers think about the seafood they eat, and how they, can also help to protect our oceans by making ocean-friendly seafood choices.

Toyota’s commitment to sustainability has long been symbolized by its adoption of hybrid-technology, particularly in the , which has been been designated “Green Top Pick” by Consumer Reports consistently over the past 12 years.

Dîner en Hybrid takes place August 12, 2018 and contest entries will be accepted until midnight on August 6, 2018 (Pacific time).
