Every year locals flock to the Fraser Valley to get their fill of fall-related fun, but with the holidays just around the corner (and hockey season well underway), there’s a whole new list of reasons to visit.
That’s why this winter we’re not going just anywhere, we’re headed straight to the Township of Langley.

Heading to the rink
The are a major junior ice hockey team playing in the Western Hockey League (WHL) and are by far, the most fun and affordable way to enjoy hockey in Vancouver.
As part of the WHL, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Giants offer top prospects in Western Canada and the U.S. the opportunity to hone their skills while giving hockey fans the opportunity to cheer on young talent before they become international stars.

But going to a Giants game is about more than what’s happening on the ice, it’s about what’s happening in the stands. Here you can expect a family-friendly atmosphere highlighted by cowbells, homemade signs, jerseys, and good-natured sports fans brought together by their shared love of the game.
This winter the Giants aren’t the only other hockey going in the Township of Langley. In fact, three Canadian rosters will compete at the from November 3 - 12 in both Langley and Delta, B.C. The tournament, which returns for the first time since 2019, will feature three Canadian teams matching up against Czechia, Finland, Sweden, and the United States. Tickets are available through .

What has become the most anticipated holiday event of the season is returning bigger and brighter than ever.
Spanning 20 full acres, offers guests the chance to experience a family-friendly outdoor Christmas festival with towering light gardens and magical landscapes all under the magic of more than ONE MILLION holiday lights. Attractions include a kids scavenger hunt, food trucks, a holiday train ride, pictures with Santa, a meet and greet with princesses, and a warmed tent space with live performances and holiday beverages.
Shopping local
The perfect way to check every name off your holiday shopping list, is a curated event where independent local small brands, both new and emerging, can come together to share their products and creations with the public. Returning this year to Fort Langley at the Fort Langley Community Hall, iMade will feature crafts, art, food, small shops, and artisan makers.
