Kids can ride a championship racecourse at this FREE cycling event in Metro Vancouver

was first introduced to the cycling community in 2001 and has since grown into a huge attraction for pro athletes and cycling fans alike.

Now part of , one of the most prestigious pro-cycling events in North America, Tour de Delta has earned a reputation as a premier cycling event complete with world-class athletes and more than enough free family fun.

During the 2019 Tour de Delta, children under the age of 16 will also have the opportunity to warm up the criterium courses for the Pros! On this course, top professionals from Canada, the U.S. and New Zealand will be competing for a $30,000 top prize. All bikes in safe, working condition are accepted. Helmets of course, are mandatory.

Kids and parents are also invited to participate in the free North Delta and South Delta community celebrations that run in conjunction with the weekend. Kids activities include face painting, bouncy castles, food, games, obstacle courses and more.

The North Delta celebration takes place July 5 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm while the South Delta celebration happens July 7 from 11:00am - 5:00pm. There will also be a free Kids Zone during the Ladner Criterium on July 6 from 3:30pm-6:30 pm.

With great weather, challenging courses and enthusiastic spectators, Tour de Delta has been an awesome success story for the cycling community in B.C.
