If you’ve been missing live entertainment, you won’t want to miss out on this year’s jazz festival!
Celebrating its 35th edition this summer, the will be one of the very first arts festivals to return with in-person live music events in over a year!
From June 25th to July 4th, the city’s signature jazz music festival will now include limited in-person audiences at their indoor concerts. In-person attendance will be permitted at free daytime shows and ticketed evening performances held at Performance Works (capped at 40 audience members) on Granville Island and The Ironworks (capped at 25 audience members) in Railtown.

If you can’t catch the live show in person at the venue, you can still attend virtually, and all streamed performances will be available to view on Coastal Jazz & Blues Society’s from its broadcast date to July 6th at 11:59 p.m. PST.

To ensure the health and safety of audience members, staff, volunteers, and artists, a strict and robust COVID-19 safety plan that adheres to the PHO Health Orders will be in place, which includes seating arrangements and physical distancing guidelines.
In order for the Jazz Fest to comply with contact tracing and safety protocols, festival attendees must register for their tickets in advance. Tickets will be limited to 2 per person and purchases can be made online at coastaljazz.ca by navigating to the event’s individual page.
