This is especially true during the Dine Out Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Festival, which is taking place throughout the city until February 2, 2020. During the festival, Vancouver’s best restaurants will offer limited edition and specially priced multi-course menus at different pricing tiers. Of course, plenty of South Granville restaurants are participating this year, making it a standout destination for anyone looking to spoil their tastebuds on a budget.

Here are just a few to check out this year.

- 1488 W 11th Ave

Lebanese brunch, lunch & dinner fare offered in a modern, relaxed locale with an all-seasonal patio. Jamjar tells a story of communal living and sharing food as a means to connect. The idea originates from the heart of Lebanese culture based on hospitality and generosity. At Jamjar you can expect an elevated take on traditional, folk Lebanese food, including Halloumi, Hummus, Grilled Meats and absolutely excellent Olive Oil. During Dine Out, Jamjar will offer a four-course dinner menu for just $35.

Vij’s Rangoli opened in 2004 in the space beside the established Vij’s Restaurant in South Granville. Rangoli not only offers the traditional dishes Vancouverites have grown to know and love over the years, but there are also new menu items, an amazing bespoke cocktail menu, and a new late-night vibe created to be the perfect end to an epic night out. During Dine Out, Vij’s Rangoli will offer a three-course dinner menu for $35.

Bringing together the distinct flavours of regions in Asia, Europe, the Americas, and beyond, the Rise Eatery is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of culinary ingenuity. You can expect Korean Style Fried Chicken that will blow your mind and plenty of vegetarian options (you’ve got to get the crispy Tempeh). During Dine Out, The Rise Eatery will offer a three-course dinner menu for $35.

Serving up gourmet burgers, Bin4 Burger Lounge plates feature international flavours and local ingredients. From their Greek isles-inspired burger to the red-hot spiciness of The Angry Bull, there’s a burger for every palate—and wallet. During Dine Out, Bin4 Burger Lounge will offer three-course lunch and dinner menus for just $25.

- 2975 Granville Street

Since 1988, Caffé Barney has been serving up comforting homemade cuisine to South Granville. The cozy neighbourhood restaurant provides a wide selection of craft beers on tap, beautiful wines and craft cocktails to complement their delicious new menu creations by the talented Chef Jimmy. Their Dine Out menu features a selection of international favourites, including everything from Australian Meat Pie to Balinese Kuning Curry, which you can enjoy as part of their three-course $35 dinner menu during Dine Out.

- 1530 West Broadway

Located on the corner of West Broadway and Granville Street, this Cactus Club Cafe’s spacious bar and lounge feature an enclosed glass atrium, the perfect setting for anything from large casual cocktail parties to formal sit down wedding receptions. All your favourite Cactus Club dishes will be available during Dine Out, in addition to $35 three-course lunch and dinner menus and a specially crafted three-course vegetarian menu.
