One of the city’s favourite Italian restaurants is available again for dine-in at their Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and Burnaby locations!

Sopra Sotto serves wood fire oven Neapolitan pizza and handmade pasta from locally sourced ingredients. Their original location is right in the heart of Vancouver’s Little Italy on Commercial Drive, and their second location in Burnaby is found in The Heights.

Just in time for their resumption of dining services, both restaurants will be offering their regular menus, and the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location has unveiled their newly renovated patios for diners.

Sopra Sotto's expanded patio setting highlights the tradition of enjoying a homemade and authentic meal in the company of loved ones. During the summer, these will be the prime spots where guests can catch up with best friends or have a romantic date night over good food while taking advantage of the fresh air.

To cater to the brunch crowd, Sopra Sotto is introducing their new brunch menu at their Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»location, served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Brunch plates range from $14 to $23 and feature:

  • Frittata di Pasta (eggs, pasta, chorizo, zucchini, Alps cheese, onion, parmigiano, arugula)

  • Uova al Purgatorio (eggs, tomato sauce, house-baked bread)

  • Breakfast Pizza (taleggio cheese, smoked pancetta, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, green onions, egg)

  • Macedonia (seasonal fruit salad, whipped sweet ricotta, pistachio)

  • Panettone French Toast (sweet italian bread, eggs, mascarpone cream, fresh seasonal fruits)

At $12 a glass, Italian-inspired cocktails to pair with the brunch selections include the Lambrusco Sangria, Capri Spritz, and Sopra Sotto’s signature Bananas In Pajamas, which contains Vodka, Banana Liqueur, Tia Maria, and espresso.

  • Gnocchi al Sugo d’Agnello (Potato gnocchi made in-house, slow roasted lamb, black kale, lemon zest, parmigiano)

  • Pizza - Salsiccia (San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, homemade spicy sausage, roasted red peppers, onions, grana)

With their dine-in reopening, both restaurants are taking the necessary precautions to provide a safe and comfortable dining experience for their guests.
