Seeing local communities in 鶹ýӳcome together is one of the bright spots of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Silver Lining initiative is an example of what small businesses can achieve when they unite during this crisis.
In this new partnership, five restaurants in East 鶹ýӳare offering cost-effective meals delivered safely to the homes of 鶹ýӳresidents. The collaborating restaurant partners include Jamjar Canteen, Kin Kao, Sopra Sotto, Bandidas Taqueria, and Dosanko.
In addition to their ties to the East Van neighbourhood, these local favourites also share a love for and commitment to their loyal customers and their local community.
Silver Lining’s biweekly and monthly meal plans provide rotating dishes for a balanced and flavourful diet. Each day is catered by one of the participating restaurants, which serve international cuisines spanning from Middle Eastern to Southeast Asian.
Those who subscribe to the Silver Lining meal plan can choose from 3 or 5 consecutive days of home delivery, with or without dessert. The participating restaurants will accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences as well.
You can also support local distilleries and craft breweries by adding signature spirits, cocktails, and artisanal beers to your meals. Local beverage partners include Strange Fellows Brewery, Odd Society, 33 Acres, Windfall Cider, and Odd Society.
Silver Lining’s delivery zone spans between Nanaimo & Oak and 41st and Hastings. If you are outside of this zone, message to discuss alternative delivery options.
