New year, new location: Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ramen restaurant rings in 2023 with downtown grand opening

While the holidays may have come and gone, and we have officially entered a new year, we are still very much in the midst of cozy season, and all Vancouverites know that the ideal meal for curling up with some comfort food is none other than ramen. 

Luckily for downtown dwellers, is celebrating the dawn of 2023 by opening a new downtown location on Jan. 17. Located at 869 Hornby St, this new spot will be the chain’s biggest location, accommodating 100 seats. 

To celebrate this momentous occasion, ZUBU is offering a righteous ramen deal sure to warm your heart - and stomach! - with the first 50 customers for the 11 a.m. lunch and 4 p.m. downtown dinner service receiving a FREE ramen on January 17, 18, and 19. 

As if this deal couldn’t get any more delicious, the celebrations aren’t just contained to the new location. To commemorate the latest addition, from January 2nd to January 9th, the renowned ramen restaurant is offering a $10 dine-in deal at its location. The same offer will also be available at its and locations from January 10 to 16.

The term ‘zubu’ translates to “to build tight or close connections through common interests and goals,” a sentiment that the establishment channels with every service and location. 

Whether downtown, in Kerrisdale, Park Royal, or Metrotown, each location offers something unique yet familiar, perfectly toeing the line of comfort food and culinary adventure, just as it perfectly balances the flavours of every dish. 

The new location will also be unveiling an exclusive list of specials to break into the downtown culinary scene, including a Ramen Flight, Beef Tongue and Truffle Vegan Ramen.

Executive Chef William Cao and Operations Manager Andy Wu and their team place innovative cuisine at the forefront of the guest experience, precisely paired with exceptional customer service and the intrinsic desire to create unforgettable experiences.

Executive Chef William Cao is an expert in Japanese cuisine with a career spanning eight years following graduating from the Kitchen Hyodo Ramen School in Oyama, Japan. All ZUBU dishes utilize fresh ingredients from local farmers and markets when possible to ensure the highest quality.
