B.C.’s local heroes come to the aid of people in life-threatening situations every day. From rescue to recovery, first responders – from our doctors, nurses, and health care professionals to our firefighters – are always on duty for British Columbians in need.

Now, these teams are risking their lives on the front lines of the COVID-19 outbreak.

To thank these heroes for their hard work in the face of this pandemic, ticket sales for the  will benefit the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation and BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Every ticket sold will change a life, raising essential funds to support health services and research and services and programs for firefighters and burn survivors. 

There are 9 Grand Prize choices – including a handful of multi-million dollar homes across B.C. in Vancouver, White Rock, Abbotsford, the Okanagan, and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Island. The home packages are worth up to $2.7 million, with additional prizes including cash for furnishings and appliances, and vehicles from Tesla, Audi, and BMW.

OR, the lucky winner can choose the Grand Prize of $2.1 million tax-free cash to spend however they please!

To enter this summer’s biggest draws, purchase your Hometown Heroes lottery ticket from now until midnight, July 23, 2020. The Grand Prize will be drawn on August 17, 2020. The lottery is eligible for B.C. residents only.

The earlier you enter the Heroes lottery, the more you can increase your chances of winning. When you purchase your ticket by the certain deadlines, you will receive entries in the following early bird prize draws:

  • May 22 for the Welcome Bonus draw. The winner will choose between a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid, 2020 Toyota C-HR LE, or $22,000 in cash.

  • June 5 for the Heroes Bonus draw. The winner will choose between an appliance package from Midland Appliance and $5,000 Cash, a 2020 Honda HR-V LX 4WD, or $24,000 in cash.

  • June 19 for the Summer Bonus draw. The winner will choose between a $30,000 La-Z-Boy Furniture package, a 2020 Honda Insight Hybrid, or $26,000 in cash

  • July 10 for the Early Bird draw. The winner will choose between a 2020 Tesla Model 3s, a $120,000 vacation package, or $100,000 in cash. 

  • Plus, 50 additional winners will be drawn to win a cash prize of $500

With your Heroes lottery ticket, you can also enter bonus draws to improve your odds of getting a prize even more:

  • 50/50 Plus – the jackpot could grow to over $2.2 million, with the winner taking half of the grand total!

  • Daily Cash Plus – 209 winners, Throughout 105 additional days, 209 winners will have the opportunity to win from an extra $300,000 in cash prizes.
