Post Shreddies has launched their 3rd annual “Search for Goodness” campaign that seeks out Canadians who go above and beyond to help others in their communities.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for their selfless commitment to their community? We know Toronto has a lot of awesome folks doing amazing things and it would be great to see some of these folks nominated in this year’s search.

If you know someone that needs to be recognized, all you have to do is tell their story.

Last year’s finalist from BC were Diane and George Karpinsky from Oliver, BC – Diane and George were nominated for their work helping people in their community. Offering needed car rides, collecting donations for people down on their luck and growing 1800 pounds of vegetables to donate to a local food bank, there is no wonder why this BC couple deserves the honour. The pair even plan to build a greenhouse to produce vegetables year round.

Canadians can submit their stories until May 10, 2015 at with the following info.

-Complete the entry form.

-Upload a photo of your nominee.

-Tell us why this person is a genuinely good person in no more than 250 words.

-Once you have nominated someone, you can “heart” their story once a day to help them make it into the top 10 finalists.

-Full contest rules are available at .

Stories will be voted on by visitors to the website and the 10 finalists will be announced between May 18th and June 7th, 2015. From that shortlist, the winner will be selected by a panel of judges at Post Foods after careful review.

Like in 2014, the winning story will be featured in a Shreddies ad highlighting the winners commitment to the community.

Here is a little info that was recently gathered about Canadians and their charitable tendencies.
