As part of their Canada Day celebrations, the Greater Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Zoo will be unveiling an all new alligator enclosure for their resident American gator, Pandora. On June 29, the Zoo will also open their interactive family farmyard. Don’t worry there are no alligators at this exhibit, instead families will be welcomed to interact with a variety of farmyard animals, including goats, pot-bellied pigs, chickens and rabbits. Families will get an interactive experience and a chance to learn about the zoo’s animals and conservation in a safe and animal-friendly environment. After that, be sure to visit the zoo’s newcomers, Reggie, a young male ostrich and Nita, a female mountain goat.

Also, don’t miss the Greater Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Zoo’s inaugural Turtle Dash, a family friendly 5km race and 1km hatchling run happening on September 14 to raise funds for conservation programs. You can register for the event .
