Uh oh, only 17 official days of summer left…
Since Vancouverites are scrambling to make the most of their remaining summer days, we thought it would be a good time to share a list of end-of-season inspiration and help you end summer with a bang. From outdoor activities to some of the best seasonal treats in town, here’s what to do before summer officially ends on September 23rd.
Four Winds Brewing Company opened their doors to B.C.’s thirsty craft beer scene over six years ago. Since then, the Delta based brewery has supplied the province with a collection of bold and balanced brews that have become a staple in the fridges, taps and growlers of craft beer aficionados across Metro Vancouver. Their tasting room in Delta, located about 30 minutes from Downtown Vancouver, builds upon their beer offerings with a very tasty taco menu and an exquisite tapas program run by their head chef Greg Bowen. The menu changes daily and makes use of organic ingredients from local farms.
Same goes for their beer, in fact, Four Winds just launched the newest beer in their Jam Series, called Apricot Jam. The beer combines a very drinkable IPA with Apricots and Milk Sugar; the perfect drink to transition you from summer to fall. Get a glass, pint or growler fill at the tasting room, and hey, why not grab some tapas while you’re there?
They’re crispy, they’re chewy, and they're literally stuffed with incredible flavour! What are they? DUMPLINGS!

The Richmond Dumpling Trail Tour last approximately 2.5 hours and includes 6 different dumpling tastings, four of which are served with tea, and one served with a specialty beer pairing.
