is bringing the improv legend and Whose Line star back to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»for three performances from May 24 - 26, 2018.

Colin MochrieColin’s improvising roots go deep with VTS, as this was where he first honed his improv chops. A million years ago (actually only the eighties), he began playing with Jay Ono (now VTS Executive Director), Denny Williams and Veena Sood, at The Back Alley Theatre. Since then, Colin has gone on to become a major comedy star and author.

It’s been two years since Colin’s last appearance with VTS in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»which means there’s a lot of catching up to do. Luckily for you, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»TheatreSports is presenting not one, but THREE evenings featuring Colin.

May 24:

Colin MochrieOn May 24, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»TheaterSports brings you Colin, Up Close and Personal. This first performance includes two improv sets with Colin playing alongside members of the VTS ensemble, followed by a Q&A session – where the audience gets to ask the questions. As an added bonus, there are a limited number of tickets (20) available for an exclusive, post-performance reception where guests can meet Colin in the Improv Centre’s Neil Macrae Bar & Lounge.

May 25:

The next show on May 25, The Colin Mochrie Experience, sees Colin at the legendary Vogue Theatre. Grab your friends and explore the city’s vibrant bar and restaurant scene before another night of hilarity featuring Colin and your favourite VTS players. Tickets start at $39.

May 26:

Colin MochrieOn Saturday, May 26, Colin returns to the smaller Improv Centre on Granville Island for two more shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Colin and Friends features the VTS players alongside Colin for even more laughs. This intimate setting is a great way to see the improv icon in action and catch every expressive comedic nuance. The 7:30 p.m. show is almost sold out, so act fast!

If you’ve ever been down to The Improv Centre on Granville Island, you know the setting is intimate, the audience is entertained, and the laughs are non-stop – they also have a fantastic bar (yes, you can take your drinks into the theatre). So you know you’ll have a good time when Canada’s greatest comedic treasure, and VTS graduate, Colin Mochrie, returns to his improv roots this May.
