Every year, treats over 96,000 kids — many of them battling debilitating diseases and chronic conditions. 

Research is critical to overcoming these illnesses—and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation works to raise funds that help advance research studies that have the power to solve the biggest challenges in child health. 

The discoveries made through the research initiatives at BC Children's are translated directly into improved care to benefit kids within the hospital, thus impacting the lives of children in B.C.

Now more than ever, the foundation needs the public’s support to bring new hope to children and families who need it most. Through the , all proceeds raised will support innovative research initiatives at the hospital. 

“During these uncertain times, the money raised through the Choices Lottery is more important than ever. These funds go toward groundbreaking research and discovering new treatments for sick and injured children across B.C. and the Yukon,” says Teri Nicholas, President and CEO of BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. “These discoveries are so critical in our quest to conquer childhood illnesses, which still impact too many children in our province. In this year’s lottery, there are over 3,200 prizes to be won – worth over $3.9 million in total!

You could be the lucky winner of 1 of 8 Grand Prizes — with the top draws being a 1,109 sq. ft. 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo at Pinnacle International in Vancouver’s False Creek neighbourhood (worth $2.5 million) to a huge 6,200 sq. ft. dream home package in South Surrey’s Morgan Creek (worth $2.8 million).

The Grand Prize Choices include a handful of other multi-million dollar home packages across B.C. in Vernon, Okanagan Falls, Victoria, and Courtenay — with additional prizes in each package including $100,000 in home furnishing and accessories, vehicles from BMW, Tesla, Mercedes Benz, and Audi, or up to $1.4 million in cash.

OR, the lucky winner can choose the Grand Prize of $2.2 million in tax-free cash to spend as they wish!

The earlier you buy your Choices Lottery tickets, the more you could potentially win! When you order before the sales deadlines, you will be entered in the following early prize draws:

  • February 5 for the Appreciation Reward draw (worth over $31,000)
    The winner will choose from a 2021 Toyota C-HR LE OR 5 x $5,000 Luxury Trips and $6,000 Spending Money OR $27,000 cash
  • February 19 for the February Family Bonus draw (worth over $34,000)
    The winner will choose from a 2021 Nissan Altima SE OR a 2021 Toyota Prius OR $29,000 cash
  • March 5 for the Spring Bonus draw (worth over $37,000)
    The winner will choose from a 2021 Honda Insight Touring Hybrid OR 6 x $5,000 Luxury Trips and $5,000 Spending Money OR $33,000 cash
  • March 25 for the Early Bird draw (worth over $350,000)
    The winner will choose from a private jet to Mau for 6 with 5 nights luxury accommodation and a 2020 Audi e-tron Progressive Quattro and $75,000 Cash OR a furnished 1 bedroom city-view condo at Watermark Beach Resort and $40,000 cash OR take home $250,000 cash. PLUS, 50 winners will win $1,000 in cash each.

There are also two extra games to enter in this year – the Daily Cash PLUS and the 50/50 PLUS.

Throughout the 101 days of the Daily Cash PLUS draw, ticket holders will have the opportunity to win from $345,000 in cash draws, starting from May 1, 2021. A daily draw will give away $2,500 or $5,000 every day, leading up to the grand prize draw, where two lucky winners will win $30,000 cash each on August 9, 2021.

In the 50/50 PLUS draw, you could take home half of the grand total of this year’s jackpot. 2020’s jackpot grew to over $1,628,115 — and this year’s could be even bigger!

To enter this year’s biggest draws, purchase your Choices Lottery ticket from now until midnight on April 8, 2021. The Grand Prize and 50/50 PLUS will be drawn on April 29, 2021. The lottery is eligible for B.C. residents only.
