Hot on the trail of last summer’s “,” Canadian burger joint A&W assembled a Burger Patrol to “rescue” skiers and boarders at Lake Louise, Alberta. Enlisted for the task: their light-hearted burger ambassador, Ryan, his hard working St. Bernard, Martin, and a giant 6-foot-tall takeout bag on a sled, packed with Teen Burgers.

Whether it was resting snowboarders or skiers stranded on a stopped chairlift, Ryan and Martin were keen to help out however they could.

These extreme heroics all took place under the helpful watch of the resort staff, and the actual ski patrol was always at the ready to intervene if any real hillside emergency popped-up, although they seemed just as excited about Burger Patrol as everyone else.

The unexpected delivery seemed to have also inspired the world’s first “180 Japan Burger” trick by snowboarder Jonathan Ruel.
