Earlier this month we wrote about Harry Stryer, an antique store owner who personally travels throughout the world to hand select furniture and one-of-a-kind finds to bring back and sell from his shop in Vancouver.
His store, Antique Market, has been in operation for over 30 years. Over this time, they’ve earned a reputation for their excellent curation skills, which you can witness in person at their brick-and-mortar location at 1324 Franklin Street in East Vancouver.

In spite of their name, Antique Market is much more than a standard antique store. Harry is always keeping an eye on upcoming trends and personally sources new furniture from suppliers who use reclaimed and salvage woods such as elm, pine, mango, acacia, and teak or timber harvested from managed forests.
