There comes a point for us all when the routine simply becomes too routine.

Perhaps it’s the tedium of the daily traffic snarl that’s grinding your gears. Or, the consistent long-range forecasts that feature nothing beyond showers, drizzle, rain or precipitation.

You need a palette cleanser – something to recharge the spiritual, emotional and physical batteries.

It’s high time to take to the skies.

Air Canada has launched non-stop service between Singapore Changi Airport and Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR).  The new service, launched on April 3, makes Air Canada the only airline offering to Singapore from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport.

The new route operates four times weekly and is another key connection for Air Canada, which continues to build its Asia Pacific hub out of YVR. Stretching 12,818 kilometres (7,965 miles), the route is the airline’s longest flight measured by distance with a flying time of approximately 16 hours.

Non-stop service to Singapore links passengers and businesses to this vibrant global city and will further develop YVR’s reputation as a diverse global hub, providing direct access to several important markets across the Indo-Pacific area. Non-stop service between the two destination airports also supports diversified trade and investment opportunities that benefit the local economy.

Before you take in the majesty of the far east, your trip begins in a setting that’s simply best in class. YVR offers a smooth process for travelers connecting from destinations within Canada or the United States. Passengers make their way through YVR to international flights in a world-class facility, where Air Canada services are operated from a state-of-the-art single terminal building.

As for the flight itself, the Boeing 787-9 features a wonderfully spacious cabin; a simulated cabin sky to perfectly mimic day or nighttime conditions; innovative cabin air technologies that help passengers arrive in Singapore feeling more refreshed. This aircraft also offers choice, with three cabin options: Air Canada Signature Class featuring lie-flat individual pods, Premium Economy featuring larger seats with additional leg room and premium services and Economy featuring complimentary Chef-inspired and designed meals, wines, and beverages.

And once you touch down on the other side of the Pacific, a smorgasbord of stimulation awaits.
