If someone owns a plane and is willing to have a long commute, there's a for sale that has a few features that don't come with Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»properties.
One, the property has its own airstrip and plane hangar.
Two, it has a small herd of Highland cattle. The four animals are part of the sale, real estate agent Robin DeRose confirms.
Three, it has two houses.
And the same : $1.9 million.
The houses themselves are relatively normal, compared to the more unique property on which they sit.
The main residence is 4,500 square feet with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The second home has two bedrooms and a bathroom in a 2,200-square-foot space.
The reason for the relatively low price tag is due to its remote location; it's in B.C.'s Peace River region, on the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains. While a beautiful area, its property values are among the lowest in the province.
The property, located at 14154 Smith Rd., is actually north of Fort St. John (though only by 15 minutes), in an area filled with agricultural operations.
