Following up on I made about 3 video tours of floathomes in BC, I've been poking around (AKA daydreaming) trying to get a gauge on if there are any cheap ones out there still, or if the window has closed on this form of real estate. The folks in the first video bought for $30,000 back in 2001, and the cheapest one I had found was $200,000. However today I found a couple of fixer-uppers for under $100,000. Neither of these are luxury by any stretch of the imagination but could be an option if you're looking for something as a cheap vacation property that you've got time and a bit of a budget to fix up.
