After the big fire destroyed much of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»in 1886, the hotels looked a little different than they do now. This one, The Tremont, was constructed on Carrall Street near where the Blarney Stone is today. I think it's safe to say the amenities were sparse and they didn't have iPads in every room.

The men pictured are (from l to r) C.L. Behnsen, John Campbell, William Clements, contractor, J.M. Luckie, and an unidentified carpenter.
