One of the most eye-catching pieces of art in B.C. is part of a residential property that just hit the real estate market.
The piece of art is a massive 55-foot chrome-covered Tyrannosaurus rex (which would make it slightly larger than life) sitting outside, where it can glimmer in the sunlight as it looks out over Okanagan Lake.
It's part of a property (well, actually two neighbouring properties that have been bundled) .
The 14-acre site is located in Penticton, at the southern end of Okanagan Lake. Along with the shiny dino, the property has a mansion, a helipad, several cabins, and a grove of cherry trees. The main house also features a large gym and a 10-car garage.
Currently, the two properties are valued at $10 million by BC Assessment, but one is part of the , which affects provincial assessments.
The property is located on the edge of Penticton between the town and the vineyards of the South Okanagan.
