SOMETIMES, ITS HARD TO UNPLUG. That’s sometimes what Ontarians might say – we have no excuse. One of the most attractive qualities of living in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is how easy it is for anyone to 'unplug'. While you might not have the money, time or resources to get out of the city – you always have access to the city’s finest parks. One of my most recent favorites: Queen Elizabeth Park. Queen Elizabeth Park is a ‘Swiss Army Park’, for city folk who need to unplug. It is where I go when I need to take a breather and relax during the week, but still need enough time for my regular routine. There is a large list of activities and happenings QEP offers. Here are some of my favorites:
The views! If you are like me, you stare in awe when you catch a great view in Vancouver. Well, QEP is the highest point in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and boasts some of the finest views of the North (attracting tourists and locals alike).
Pitch N’ Putt. Nothing like havin’ a Coke-a-Cola while you try your best to make it look like you really know what your doing out there. You don’t have to be a serious golfer but if you enjoy messing around with a golf club, it’s a perfect way to get your mind off things while being surrounded by beautiful horticulture.

Simply, I wanted to put Queen Elizabeth Park on the Unplugged map, because it’s a blessing to have this sort of beauty in our city. Next time you need to take an easy break from email or just want to impress a friend from out of town… QEP should be on your list of things to check out.
