Vancouver’s North Shore is the ideal location for Artists for Conservation Festival, happening at the top of Grouse Mountain from November 5 to 13, 2011. The Artists for Conservation Festival is a 10-day international art and environmental educational event.
Over fifty members of the Artists for Conservation Foundation, including Robert Bateman, are lending their talent to support wildlife and habitat conservation by donating a percentage of proceeds from their artwork to the conservation organization of their choice. The “Artists for Conservation†exhibit will be open weekdays from 2:30pm-10:00pm and weekends 10:00am-10:00pm from November 5-13, 2011. Grouse Mountain Resort is the 2011 host venue for the festival. The Festival exhibits are free of charge with Grouse Mountain Red SkyRide admission.
The Festival includes a world-class art exhibition, film premiere, gala event, as well as lectures, demos and workshops by internationally renowned master artists. Detailed festival information, program schedules and regular updates, can be found at .
