I was going to do an in-depth post about the dinosaur fossils on display at Metrotown but the folder of photos I shot got stale; the display has been taken down and is likely headed to another mall. Perhaps the West Edmonton Mall.
I don't want to make you sad that you can't go touch the dinos yourself so I won't hype it up too much. All I have to say is that it was totally decent. They had bones (like this Triceratops horn) just sitting out in the open so that you could touch them. For a minute I questioned whether or not these were real bones or casts of bones ("why are we allowed to touch these million year old fossils?"), but upon reading a bunch of the plaques I concluded that, for some reason, we were permitted to touch real dinosaur bones.
At the mall.
Totally decent.
