... almost literally!!! If you've been following you know I'm on the hunt for the urban chickens. I want to see photos of urban chicken coops and I want to hear stories about people who are urban chickening in Vancouver.
As luck would have it our very own Cherchez (who brings you our ALMOST FAMOUS features) got ahold of a friend who has a friend who actually knows me and who I think is going to let me pop by their house to take photos of their coop! And - get this - this person lives 4 blocks from my house in wonderful Mount Pleasant. What better place to raise chickens than the 'Plez?

NOTE: I think that this is a photo of a rooster, not a chicken. Maybe when I visit the urban coop they'll set me straight and teach me all about the biology of these flightless winged beasts that we now share the city with.
