If you've gone up the Sea to Sky Highway, chances are good that you've driven by numerous times without giving it a second thought.

However, Brohm Lake, which lies in the district of and the territory of the Squamish Nation, is definitely worth the stop, especially if you're looking for a quick and easy fall hike.

Beginning at the parking lot beside Highway 99, our clockwise route followed the Bridge Trail, Cheakamus Loop Trail, High Trail, Tantalus View Trail, Connector Trail, and Brohm Lake Trail.

Two viewpoints on the Cheakamus Loop Trail and the former fire lookout at the top of the Tantalus View Trail rewarded our mild efforts, with Alpha Mountain, Mount Dione, and Mount Tantalus dominating the scenery.
