A new company called Mountain Beaver Adventure Co has launched an epic tour in Pemberton, about a two and a half hour drive from Vancouver.

The tour starts near the fields of family brewery and takes place on the majestic Lillooet River.

Kam Bryant, owner of the outdoor adventure company, said there were beautiful views of Mount Currie along the way.

“Meadows Valley is pretty quiet and once you’re on the river you’re fairly secluded. It’s mostly wilderness," he told Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³».

“There are significant views of Mount Currie that you wouldn’t otherwise get to see. If you turn around you get some really nice views looking back up the valley toward Mount Baker."

Bryant said the paddle was about 90 minutes, but the group stopped halfway through the trip for a quick break to give people a chance to stretch and have a snack.

The tour ends back at The Beer Farmers brewery for a well-deserved beverage and a chance to relax and take in the gorgeous views of the farm’s patio.

“We paddle and float down a nice easy river all the way back to the brewery where we started and then everyone can get a beer,” Bryant says.

The fourth generation family farm offers locally grown and crafted lagers. Specializing in approachable and balanced beers, the owners say “there is something for everyone.”

The tours are available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Bryant says the tours will continue as long the sun is shining and weather is fine.

For those looking for something a little more challenging … the company will soon offer the option of hiring a guide for private lessons in white-water adventures.
