The 2014 is taking place November 19, 2014! Every year this event brings together Vancouver's top seafood chefs who serve us up sustainable chowders and craft beer then ask us to vote on our favourite concoctions so we can crown one of them the champion.

We asked our friends at for a list of the least common ingredients that the winners from last year's Chowdown employed and I have to say we were quite surprised by a couple of them...
