And now for something a little different at : the recreation area will close down to the public for nearly two weeks as they transition between the summer and winter operations.
The new annual seasonal closure will take place from November 1 through 12, 2018.
Grouse Mountain spokeswoman Julia Grant said in a statement the closure would allow for maintenance and winter preparation projects to be completed at a time when there are typically fewer visitors to Grouse.
During this time, there will be no Skyride access and all mountaintop activities and facilities will be closed.
