Over the past few months we've brought you a number of with local chefs who are ambassadors of the program, and I am so happy to bring you the news today that restaurants are now a national Ocean Wise partner in seafood conservation, selecting ocean-friendly seafood choices easy for its diners.
Effective immediately, the menus of Milestones' 51 locations nationwide are offering sustainably sourced Pacific cod from Alaska and BC (found in the Panko-crusted Pacific cod and Fish and Chips), and sustainably farmed mussels from Prince Edward Island and Salt Spring Island, BC Ocean Wise salmon is also featured in all of their restaurants in our province.
Each time gets a leg up in a chain like this, the future looks just a little bit brighter.
