The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Canadians were finally able to have their opening day at Nat Bailey Stadium this week after multiple rain postponments over the weekend, and former owners Jake Kerr and Jeff Mooney appeared to have as much fun at the game as the rest of the crowd.
Decked out in vintage C's warmup jackets with leather sleeves, the pair sat side-by-side and watched as the team they saved back in 2007 (and which they recently sold) begun their first season in 16 years with different owners.
Mooney has long been known as a lively fan, and was seen joyfully participating in The Chicken Dance. The more reserved Kerr remained seated, simply taking it all in.
In the end they were treated to a 2-1 walk-off win for the C's when Devonte Brown stole home after a wild pitch at the bottom on the ninth inning.
Here's hoping that, despite no longer being owners, we continue to see these longtime friends enjoying the game they saved as much as we do.
If you need me I'll be enjoying a game with my friends at The Nat.
