Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»police are investigating an incident and looking for witnesses after "violent confrontations" at a rally celebrating the International Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31.
"The incidents occurred when rally-goers confronted a group of counter-protesters inside Grandview Park, where between 75 and 100 people had gathered," states the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Department (VPD) in a press release.
Detectives with the VPD are doing a full investigation into the confrontations, according to the press release. This includes collecting more witness statements who were at the park and saw what happened but haven't spoken with police.
Police say they believe two people were assaulted.
