If Vancouverites want to shake the stereotype that they can't drive in the snow, footage from Nov. 29, 2022 is not going to help.
Dozens of videos have been shared on social media of crashes, abandoned cars, epic late-night traffic jams and widespread chaos on Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»streets and highways.
Videos captured everything ranging from a tow truck that crashed into a house, a bus being pushed by a police vehicle and people doing U-turns on highway onramps.
In one video, from TikTok user Kelly Joy Argue, the driver of a vehicle expresses frustration about the nearly annual tradition of bad driving conditions when Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»gets hit by snow.
"Every f***ing year this happens, every year they're completely unprepared for this s**t, and every year you have morons out hear without f***ing lights on and I'm guessing no snow tires," she yells in frustration as she passes a vehicle.
Warning: Some videos contain strong language.
