Last night was the first night of the epic Celebration of Light, and if you live in downtown or northwestern neighbourhoods in Metro Vancouver, you probably already knew that.
The massive fireworks display lit the skies of English Bay Saturday, July 23, to the cheers of thousands of people. The show was put on by Akariya Fireworks, from Japan, and judging by the photos and video posted on social media, it was a spectacular affair.
