A shocking piece of driving was caught on dashcam in Richmond on Wednesday.
However, if you’ve lived or worked in Richmond long enough, this kind of scenario wouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
But Richmond resident Martin van den Hemel was particularly disturbed by what he witnessed on Wednesday, while driving along Williams Road, near Ash Street.
Horrible driving in Richmond
Van den Hemel watched with horror as a vehicle coming out of Severn Drive seemingly blew through the intersection with Williams.
He said what made it worse was the fact that the intersection is close to an elementary school and kids are often walking in the area.
The driver doesn’t appear to even slow down before entering Williams, let alone come to a stop to assess the traffic flow.
Richmond driver almost T-boned
As a result, the driver comes close to being T-boned by a vehicle travelling on Williams.
“In real time, he was going much quicker,” Van den Hemel told the Richmond News.
“It was much more disturbing in real life than it shows on the footage.”
