Monday is getting a gloomy start across Metro Vancouver, with the region getting soaked by another wet weather system.
Environment Canada says we can expect periods of rain today, totalling a possible 10 to 15 mm. While there may be some foggy patches that will dissipate in the morning we are also due to get windy conditions this morning, with more wind set to return overnight.
Tonight the rain will continue and will be heavy at times, for a total of 20 to 30 mm.
Daytime temps should be steady at 8C, going down just a bit to 7C overnight.
While Tuesday's forecast has us warming up a couple of degrees, the rain is expected to hold on through the day. Environment Canada is calling for Tuesday's temp to hit a balmy 10C, but with periods of heavy rainfall and winds.
Once we get on the other side of this latest soaking, however, we could be soaking up a little sunshine. The weather agency is calling for a respite from the rain with a mix of sun and cloud on Wednesday, followed by a sunny Thursday, before rain returns Friday and into the weekend.
