The Environment Canada Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes a risk of thunderstorms and snow in the first week of March.

Temperatures may have warmed up in the Lower Mainland over the past couple of days but there is still plenty of stormy weather in the forecast.

Periods of rain or snow are expected to continue through Thursday morning but there is also a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. The evening forecast calls for cloudy periods and a high of 1 C with a 40 per cent chance of showers.

Friday's forecast also includes a 70 per cent chance of showers during the day and rain overnight.

Heading into the weekend, Saturday is expected to be wet while Sunday is forecasted to have a mix of sun and cloud during the day with possible showers at night.
