Vancouverites may see flurries this weekend as temperatures dip down close to the freezing level.
While the majority of the week is expected to see temperatures closer to seasonal averages, as well as some wet weather, Environment Canada calls for a cold front over the weekend.
On Tuesday (Nov. 22), the forecast includes rain and a high of 9 C during the day with skies clearing and temperatures falling to 4 C overnight. Wednesday is expected to see a 30 per cent chance of showers during the day and cloudy periods overnight.
While the dry weather is expected to continue through the day Thursday, the overnight forecast includes rain. The wet weather is expected to continue through Friday and into the weekend.
Starting on Saturday, the overnight low is expected to dip down to 3 C, while the overnight low on Sunday is expected to dip down to 1 C, providing the possibility of rain showers or flurries.

In a recent update, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) called for a 75 per cent chance that this winter and won't change to a "neutral" weather pattern until about February.
Typically, La Niña's impact on southern B.C. doesn't start to show until the late fall or early winter. But it does tend to produce cooler than normal conditions and snowier conditions over the mountains.
Environment Canada will release its official winter forecast on Dec. 1.
