The sunny weather is slated to return to the Lower Mainland following a couple of dreary days.

While there is a chance of showers on Wednesday (June 29) during the day, the evening is expected to see some cloudy periods.  After that, Environment Canada calls for bright sunshine and a high of 21 C on the coast and 25 C inland. However, temperatures will feel more like 28 C inland with humidity.

Bright sunshine is expected for the majority of the Canada Day long weekend. Temperatures are expected to increase on the coast slightly to 22 C on Friday and to 23 C on Saturday, with overnight lows in the mid-teens.

Sunday's forecast includes a chance of showers throughout the day and into next week.
