While Vancouverites were privy to awe-inspiring sunsets and weeks of straight sunshine, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast calls for rain next week.
According to Environment Canada, the weather will remain warm and sunny through the weekend. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 14°C or 15°C on most days, but inland temperatures may reach 21°C on Wednesday, October 17th.
Similarly, inland temperatures are predicted to reach 20°C and 19°C on Thursday and Friday respectively.
All that changes, however, when the forecast calls for a chance of showers on Tuesday, October 23rd.
Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Weather Forecast: Looking Ahead
The Weather Network calls for rain on Tuesday, but it also predicts that Wednesday will see light rain, too. What's more, it predicts that rainfall will continue through Thursday and Friday.
While the weekend looks clear, the forecast calls for more rainfall on the following Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Wednesday, October 3rd, a cold winter front brought B.C. temperatures below freezing in a number of places. Moreover, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»temperatures reached a record low.
While the temperature did not dip below zero, it was extremely cold for early fall. In fact, Environment Canada recorded 1.6°C at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport. The previous record of 2.8°C was set in 1937.
