Another vibrant fireworks display electrified Vancouver's waterfront on Wednesday, July 26 evening.
Loud booms and crackles erupted across the city for nearly half an hour on the second night of the Honda Celebration of Light, which featured an awe-inspiring show by Team Mexico.
Mexico's team, called Grupo Avacon, says it strives to create the "most innovative shows with the use of the latest technology and effects." Its dazzling display kicked off at 10 p.m., wowing onlookers with vibrant green, yellow, and red hues.
When the fireworks wrapped up, Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»police warned in a tweet that thousands of people would exit the waterfront area at the same time and asked them to "exercise patience and be courteous."
Police also guided pedestrian traffic through the main exit points from the waterfront following the display.
Team Philippines will put on the final display on Saturday, July 29. Currently, Saturday's Â鶹´«Ă˝Ół»weather forecast for the downtown area includes a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 24 C.
Another wonderful event by Mexico. I especially love the reflected lights on the buildings downtown…
