The forecast also warns that travellers headed to Whistler should prepare for frigid temperatures near minus 12. What's more, an arctic outflow is expected to produce winds up to 30 km/h, which will generate wind chill values near minus 20 tonight through the Whistler region and Sea to Sky corridor.
If you must go outside in these conditions, dress warmly in layers and stay dry. In addition, you should cover as much exposed skin as possible to avoid frostbite. Drive with care, especially along coastal routes exposed to outflow winds.
